Nagpahimo usab siya ug poste nga simbolo sa diosa nga si Ashera. Gipalagot gayod niya pag-ayo ang Ginoo, nga Dios sa Israel, labaw pa kaysa gihimo sa mga hari sa Israel nga nahauna kaniya.
