Sa dihang namatay si Rehoboam, gilubong siya sa gilubngan sa iyang mga katigulangan sa Lungsod ni David. (Ang inahan ni Rehoboam mao si Naama nga Amonihanon.) Si Abias nga iyang anak mao ang mipuli kaniya ingon nga hari.

And Rehoboam slept with his fathers, and was buried with his fathers in the city of David. And his mother’s name was Naamah an Ammonitess. And Abijam his son reigned in his stead.
