And thou shalt speak and say before the LORD thy God, A Syrian ready to perish was my father, and he went down into Egypt, and sojourned there with a few, and became there a nation, great, mighty, and populous:

Unya, isulti ninyo kini sa presensya sa Ginoo nga inyong Dios: ‘Ang among katigulangan nga si Jacob usa ka Aramehanon nga walay permanenteng puloy-anan. Miadto siya sa Ehipto ug nagpuyo didto kauban sa iyang panimalay. Gamay ra sila kaniadto, apan sa kaulahian midaghan sila, ug nahimo kaming dako ug gamhanan nga nasod.
