Ako si Juan nga inyong igsoon nga kauban usab ninyo sa kalisdanan, sa paghari, ug sa pag-antos nga mapailubon tungod kay kita anaa kang Jesus. Gipugos ako sa pagpuyo ngadto sa isla sa Patmos tungod sa akong pagwali sa pulong sa Dios nga gitudlo ni Jesus.

I John, who also am your brother, and companion in tribulation, and in the kingdom and patience of Jesus Christ, was in the isle that is called Patmos, for the word of God, and for the testimony of Jesus Christ.
