Kini nga dapit gitawag ug Meriba, kay nakiglalis ang mga Israelinhon sa Ginoo dinhi niini nga dapit; ug dinhi usab gipakita sa Ginoo kanila ang iyang pagkabalaan.

This is the water of Meribah; because the children of Israel strove with the LORD, and he was sanctified in them.
