Mitubag si Gideon, “Apan Sir, kon ang Ginoo kauban pa namo, nganong ingon man niini ang among kahimtang? Nganong wala man siya maghimo ug mga milagro sama sa iyang gihimo kaniadto sa dihang gipagawas niya gikan sa Ehipto ang among mga katigulangan, sumala sa gisugilon nila kanamo? Gipasagdan na kami sa Ginoo ug gitugyan sa mga Midianhon.”

And Gideon said unto him, Oh my Lord, if the LORD be with us, why then is all this befallen us? and where be all his miracles which our fathers told us of, saying, Did not the LORD bring us up from Egypt? but now the LORD hath forsaken us, and delivered us into the hands of the Midianites.
