Nagpadala ang mga taga-Gibeon ug mensahe kang Josue didto sa kampo niini sa Gilgal. Miingon sila, “Ayaw kamig pasagdi nga imong mga sulugoon. Anhi dayon kamo dinhi ug luwasa kami. Tabangi kami kay naghiusa batok kanamo ang tanang mga hari nga Amorihanon nga nagpuyo sa mga bukid.”

And the men of Gibeon sent unto Joshua to the camp to Gilgal, saying, Slack not thy hand from thy servants; come up to us quickly, and save us, and help us: for all the kings of the Amorites that dwell in the mountains are gathered together against us.
