Sa ikatulong higayon miingon pag-usab si Jesus, “Simon nga anak ni Juan, gihigugma mo ba ako?” Nahiubos si Pedro tungod kay katulo na siya pangutan-a ni Jesus kon gihigugma ba niya siya. Busa miingon si Pedro kaniya, “Ginoo, nahibalo ka sa tanan, ug nahibalo ka nga gihigugma ka nako.” Miingon si Jesus kaniya, “Atimana ang akong mga karnero.

He saith unto him the third time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me? Peter was grieved because he said unto him the third time, Lovest thou me? And he said unto him, Lord, thou knowest all things; thou knowest that I love thee. Jesus saith unto him, Feed my sheep.
