Naglakaw kami sa tawo paingon sa sidlakan sa daplin sa tubig, ug nagsige siya ug sukod. Sa nakasukod na siyag 1,700 ka piye sa amo nga nalakaw, gipatunob niya ako sa tubig nga hangtod lang sa akong kiting.

And when the man that had the line in his hand went forth eastward, he measured a thousand cubits, and he brought me through the waters; the waters were to the ankles.
