Ezequiel 1:1
Ako si Ezekiel nga usa ka pari, anak ni Buzi, ug usa ako sa mga gibihag ngadto sa Babilonia. Usa ka adlaw, sa dihang didto ako sa daplin sa Suba sa Kebar kauban sa uban nga mga binihag, nakita kong naabli ang langit ug gigamhan ako sa Dios, ug may gipakita siya kanakong mga panan-awon. Nahitabo kini sa ikalimang adlaw sa ikaupat nga bulan sa ika-30 nga tuig. Kini ang ikalimang tuig sa pagkabihag ni Haring Jehoiachin.

Now it came to pass in the thirtieth year, in the fourth month, in the fifth day of the month, as I was among the captives by the river of Chebar, that the heavens were opened, and I saw visions of God.
