Nagtigom usab ang mga Judio nga didto sa nagkalain-laing mga probinsya sa gingharian aron sa pagpanalipod ug pagluwas sa ilang kaugalingon gikan sa ilang mga kaaway. Nakapatay sila ug 75,000 ka tawo, apan wala nila kuhaa ang kabtangan sa ilang mga kaaway. Nahitabo kini sa ika-13 nga adlaw sa bulan sa Adar, ug pagkasunod nga adlaw nga mao ang ika-14, namahulay sila ug nagkombira sa kalipay.
