Deuteronomio 13:17
Ayaw gayod ninyo tagoi ang bisan unsang butang sa maong lungsod nga nahukman nang laglagon sa hingpit. Kon tumanon ninyo kining tanan, mawala ang labihan nga kasuko sa Ginoo, ug kaloy-an niya kamo. Ug sa iyang kaluoy, padaghanon niya kamo sumala sa iyang gisaad sa inyong mga katigulangan.

And there shall cleave nought of the cursed thing to thine hand: that the LORD may turn from the fierceness of his anger, and shew thee mercy, and have compassion upon thee, and multiply thee, as he hath sworn unto thy fathers;
