Miingon si Abner kang David, “Mahal nga Hari, tugoti ako nga molakaw karon aron sa pag-aghat sa tanang katawhan sa Israel nga suportahan ka ingon nga hari. Pahimuon ko sila ug kasabotan uban kanimo nga dawaton ka nila nga ilang hari. Unya maghari ka sa bisan asa mo gusto.” Busa gipalakaw ni David si Abner ug mibiya kini nga malinawon.
2 Samuel 3:21 · KJV
And Abner said unto David, I will arise and go, and will gather all Israel unto my lord the king, that they may make a league with thee, and that thou mayest reign over all that thine heart desireth. And David sent Abner away; and he went in peace.
