Busa milakaw ang usa ka tigkabayo sa pagtagbo kanila, ug miingon siya, “Gusto sa hari nga mahibaloan kon maayo ba ang inyong tuyo sa pag-anhi dinhi.” Mitubag si Jehu, “Unsay imong labot? Sunod kanako!” Misinggit ang tigbalantay ngadto sa hari, “Nakaabot na kanila ang tigkabayo nga imong gisugo, apan wala siya mobalik.”

So there went one on horseback to meet him, and said, Thus saith the king, Is it peace? And Jehu said, What hast thou to do with peace? turn thee behind me. And the watchman told, saying, The messenger came to them, but he cometh not again.
