Unya mitindog siya sa iyang dapit tapad sa haligi, sa pagpaila sa iyang awtoridad, ug naghimo siya ug kasabotan sa presensya sa Ginoo nga mosunod siya sa Ginoo pinaagi sa pagtuman sa iyang mga sugo, pagtulon-an, ug tulomanon sa tibuok niyang kinabuhi. Niining paagiha matuman ang mga ginapatuman sa kasabotan sa Dios nga nasulat niini nga libro. Ug misaad usab ang mga tawo nga motuman sa kasabotan sa Dios.

And the king stood by a pillar, and made a covenant before the LORD, to walk after the LORD, and to keep his commandments and his testimonies and his statutes with all their heart and all their soul, to perform the words of this covenant that were written in this book. And all the people stood to the covenant.
