Gipaguba niya ang mga simbahanan diha sa habog nga mga dapit, gipadugmok ang mga sagradong bato, ug gipaputol ang poste nga simbolo sa diosa nga si Ashera. Gipadugmok niya ang bronsi nga halas nga hinimo ni Moises, kay hangtod niadtong panahona gisimba pa gihapon kadto sa mga Israelinhon pinaagi sa pagsunog ug mga insenso. Gitawag kadtong bronsi nga halas ug Nehustan.

He removed the high places, and brake the images, and cut down the groves, and brake in pieces the brasen serpent that Moses had made: for unto those days the children of Israel did burn incense to it: and he called it Nehushtan.
