Adunay 70 ka mga kaliwat si Ahab sa Samaria. Busa nagpadala si Jehu ug sulat sa mga opisyal sa lungsod, sa mga tigdumala, ug sa mga tig-atiman sa mga kaliwat ni Ahab. Mao kini ang sulod sa iyang sulat:

And Ahab had seventy sons in Samaria. And Jehu wrote letters, and sent to Samaria, unto the rulers of Jezreel, to the elders, and to them that brought up Ahab’s children, saying,
