2 Mga Hari 1:17
Busa namatay si Ahazia sumala sa giingon sa Ginoo pinaagi kang Elias. Tungod kay wala siyay anak nga lalaki, si Joram nga iyang igsoon mao ang mipuli kaniya ingon nga hari. Naghari si Joram sa ikaduhang tuig sa paghari ni Jehoram nga anak ni Jehosafat nga hari sa Juda.

So he died according to the word of the LORD which Elijah had spoken. And Jehoram reigned in his stead in the second year of Jehoram the son of Jehoshaphat king of Judah; because he had no son.
