Sa paghatag sa Dios kang Moises sa Kasugoan nga iyang gisulat sa mga bato, ang mga Israelinhon dili na makatutok sa nawong ni Moises kay nasulawan gayod sila. (Apan kadtong kahayag sa iyang nawong hinay-hinay lang nga nawala.) Karon kon ang Dios nagpakita sa iyang gahom sa Kasugoan nga nagdala ug kamatayon,

But if the ministration of death, written and engraven in stones, was glorious, so that the children of Israel could not stedfastly behold the face of Moses for the glory of his countenance; which glory was to be done away:
