2 Cronicas 28:23
Naghalad siya ngadto sa mga dios sa Damasco nga mipildi kaniya. Kay miingon siya, “Gitabangan niini nga mga dios ang mga hari sa Aram. Busa maghalad usab ako kanila aron tabangan usab nila ako.” Apan mao kini ang nakapalaglag kaniya ug sa Israel.

For he sacrificed unto the gods of Damascus, which smote him: and he said, Because the gods of the kings of Syria help them, therefore will I sacrifice to them, that they may help me. But they were the ruin of him, and of all Israel.
