Unya nanumpa si Haring Solomon sa ngalan sa Ginoo, “Hinaut nga silotan gayod ako sa Dios kon dili ko patyon si Adonia tungod niining iyang gihangyo.

Then king Solomon sware by the LORD, saying, God do so to me, and more also, if Adonijah have not spoken this word against his own life.
