Daghang mga babaye nga dili Israelinhon ang gihigugma ni Haring Solomon. Gawas sa anak sa hari sa Ehipto, adunay mga asawa pa gayod siyang mga Moabihanon, Amonihanon, Edomihanon, Sidonhon, ug mga Hitihanon.
