Nakita siya sa iyang igsoon nga si Absalom ug gipangutana, “Adunay nahitabo ba tali kaninyo ni Amnon? Pagpakahilom lang bahin niini, kay igsoon mo siya sa amahan. Ayaw lang ikaguol kining nahitabo kanimo.” Didto na mipuyo si Tamar sa balay ni Absalom, apan kanunay lang siyang nag-inusara ug nagmasulob-on.

And Absalom her brother said unto her, Hath Amnon thy brother been with thee? but hold now thy peace, my sister: he is thy brother; regard not this thing. So Tamar remained desolate in her brother Absalom’s house.
